I, on behalf of faculty and staff, welcome you to the Guru Kashi Department of Social Sciences. This department is fortunate to be part of Punjabi University Guru Kashi Campus, Talwandi Sabo which has imparted quality education to students of rural backgrounds for 68 years. Under the able guidance Vice-Chancellor of Punjabi University Patiala & Prof. Kamaljeet Singh (Director, Punjabi Uni. Guru Kashi Campus Talwandi Sabo), we are committed to the wellbeing of students and society. It is our sincere effort to equip the students with the skills necessary to excel in their lives and make them responsible members of society. With the blessings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, with whose blessings education is flourishing in this area, we hope that we will continue to fulfill our duty towards this region and the land of Punjab.

ਮੈਂ, ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਵੱਲੋਂ, ਗੁਰੂ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਖੁਸ਼ਕਿਸਮਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਕੈਂਪਸ, ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਸਾਬੋ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ 68 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਪਿਛੋਕੜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਆਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ: ਕਮਲਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ (ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਗੁਰੂ ਕਾਸ਼ੀ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਸਾਬੋ) ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਅਸੀਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹਾਂ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਹੁਨਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੈਸ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਾਡੀ ਸੁਹਿਰਦ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਹੈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਆਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਨਾਲ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਫੁੱਲਤ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਮੀਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਫਰਜ਼ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਾਂਗੇੇ।
