Introduction
Punjabi University Guru Kashi Campus, Damdama Sahib is located at Talwandi Sabo. Damdama Sahib, a sacred place, is the Fourth Takhat of Sikhs in particular and people of all faiths in general. Since 1988, the campus is raising the educational standards of the students in this rural area of Malwa region of Punjab. The campus is spread across nearly 84 acres and offers serene and idyllic environs. It comprises of five institutions; Guru Kashi Department of Social Sciences, Guru Kashi Department of Languages, Yadavindra Department of Engineering, Yadavindra Department of Sciences and Department of Business Studies. The campus offers various humanities and social sciences courses as well as professional courses in commerce, management and engineering and aims to empower the students with best of the skills and know-how. The faculty of the campus is actively pursuing research activities, guiding doctorate students and generating new knowledge for society. Ample residential facilities for the faculty, staff, students, along with the guest house and sports facilities provide a cozy and comfortable stay on the campus. The campus runs a novel B.Tech. 6 years Integrated course for the deserving students from the rural areas of India. The students of this course are financially supported through Golden Hearts Scholarship Scheme. The vision is to groom excellent, competent and humane persons motivated to serve the society in large.

Punjabi University Guru Kashi Campus, Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo is the largest outside campus of Punjabi University, Patiala. It is a premier institution committed to promoting Punjabi language, Literature and culture along with Engineering and Sciences and helps students to achieve excellence in higher education. Along with the above commitment, we at the PUGKC Damdama Sahib, Talwandi Sabo are also focusing on the upliftment of educational standards in the Southern (Malwa) region of the Punjab, which has not received the required attention in past. Located in the spiritually-blessed land of Talwandi Sabo (Damdama Sahib) and having a team of talented and highly-qualified faculty members, the Campus is an ideal place for the holistic development of students. The students are motivated to excel not only in academics but also in other activities such as NSS, NCC, Sports, cultural competitions to train them into highly educated human beings and very responsible citizens of the country.
With the backup of state–of-the-art facilities in various areas of science, engineering, technology, humanities and business studies, we have the capability to hone the skills of students to the finest levels which will not only ensure the respectable employment to the budding graduates but also groom their entrepreneurial attribute. Our excellent collaboration with other institutions of learning in India and abroad strengthened by our network with industry is our greatest asset.
